Robert Goeke

Named after both of his grandfathers, Robert William Goeke was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and raised outside Chicago, Illinois. He attended McDaniel College in Maryland, where he was an English Major and Spanish Minor. Before Law School, Robert worked in Public Relations, for a U.S. Senator, served in AmeriCorps, and taught Elementary School.

During Law School, Robert worked at Southeast Louisiana Legal Services, Clerked for Judge Madeline Landrieu in the Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and for Professor Ramona Fernandez in the Loyola Law Clinic. He also worked as an Immigration Law Clerk and as an Immigration Lawyer for Miguel Elias from 2015 until 2019. In May 2016, Robert Received a Juris Doctorate Degree from Loyola University College of Law in New Orleans, where he was a student practitioner in the Children’s Rights Clinic and received a Social Justice Certificate. He was a 2016 recipient of the Gillis Long Poverty Law Center Public Service Award for his work in the Law Clinic. On October 20, 2016, Robert was admitted to the practice of law by the Louisiana Supreme Court.

Robert resides in New Orleans. He enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife, his amazing daughter, two dogs, and visiting with friends and family.
