Veronica Guzman

Veronica Guzman was born and raised in New Orleans, where the vibrant mix of cultures mirrored her own rich heritage. The daughter of a Mexican father and Salvadoran mother, Veronica grew up with a deep appreciation for resilience, community, and the power of representation. These roots have shaped her unwavering commitment to advocate for underserved communities—especially the Hispanic community that has given her so much.

A recent graduate of Louisiana State University, Veronica has her sights set on law school, where she plans to specialize in immigration and criminal defense. At EL ABOGADO, she’s gaining invaluable hands-on experience, helping clients navigate complex legal challenges while witnessing the very real struggles that immigrant families face every day. Helping people through life-changing legal moments is what drives her—and what fuels her dream of becoming a lawyer.

Outside the office, Veronica enjoys exploring New Orleans’ dynamic culinary scene. Though she loves everything from gumbo to po’boys, her favorite cuisine is Vietnamese—proof that, like her hometown, she embraces flavor from all corners of the world.
